PRACTICE DIRECTION - 8.2B

Vacation Business in the High Court in 2005

1. In addition to the types of business set out in Practice Direction 8.2 and Practice Direction 8.2A, the following matters may be set down for hearing in the vacation of 2005:

(a) in companies' winding-up proceedings, the hearing of a contested petition listed before a Judge on the first working day of each week at 9:30 a.m.;

(b) in bankruptcy proceedings:

(i) the hearing of a contested petition listed before a Judge on the first working day of each week at 9:30 a.m.;

(ii) the hearing of an application to set aside a statutory demand before a Judge; and

(iii) the hearing of an application to object the automatic discharge of a bankrupt, and to annul a bankruptcy order before a Master on Wednesday of each week.

2. This Practice Direction shall have immediate effect.
