ELECTORAL PROCEDURE (CHIEF EXECUTIVE ELECTION) REGULATION - SECT 79
Reporting of irregularities
(1) If the Returning Officer, the Chief Electoral Officer or the
Presiding Officer is of the opinion that an irregularity has occurred in
relation to an election, a poll or a count, he shall make a report in writing
to the Commission.
(2) A report of an irregularity shall be made-
(a) as soon as practicable after the Officer concerned becomes aware of
it; and
(b) in any case not later than 14 days after the polling date.
(3) If in the opinion of the Returning Officer, the Chief Electoral Officer
or the Presiding Officer a material irregularity has occurred or is likely to
occur in relation to an election, he shall immediately make a report to the
Commission in such manner as he considers expedient in the circumstances.
(4) If a report is made under subsection (3) otherwise than in writing, the
Officer concerned shall make a report also in writing-
(a) as soon as practicable after the making of the first-mentioned report;
and
(b) in any case not later than 30 days after the polling date.
