AMUSEMENT RIDES (SAFETY) (FEES) REGULATION - SECT 2
Fee payable under section 10 of the Ordinance for approval of commencement of operation of amusement ride VerDate:30/06/1997



The fee payable under section 10 of the Ordinance for the approval of the 
commencement of operation of an amusement ride is the appropriate fee 
specified in Schedule 1 for that approval.

Fee payable under section 15 of the Ordinance for permitting the use and operation of amusement ride to be resumed VerDate:30/06/1997



The fee payable under section 15 of the Ordinance for permitting the use 
and operation of an amusement ride to be resumed is the appropriate fee 
specified in Schedule 2 for that permission.

Fee payable under section 21 of the Ordinance for the designation by name of persons who may exercise powers conferred by sections 19 and 20 of the Ordinance VerDate:08/12/2000



The fee payable under section 21 of the Ordinance for the designation by 
name of a person employed by the owner of an amusement ride who may 
exercise the powers conferred by sections 19 and 20 of the Ordinance is 
$400 for each such person.

Fees payable under sections 4 and 5(6) of the Amusement Rides (Safety) (Operation and Maintenance) Regulation VerDate:08/12/2000





(1)	The fee payable under section 4 of the Amusement Rides (Safety) 
(Operation and Maintenance) Regulation (Cap 449 sub. leg.) for the 
approval of a person as-

        (a)	a surveyor within the meaning of that Regulation, is $5455;

        (b)	a competent person within the meaning of that Regulation, is 
$2750;

        (c)	a qualified person within the meaning of that Regulation, is 
$1225.  (L.N. 29 of 1997)

(2)	The fee payable under section 5(6) of the Amusement Rides 
(Safety) (Operation and Maintenance) Regulation (Cap 449 sub. leg.) for an 
amendment to a limited certificate of approval held by-

        (a)	a surveyor within the meaning of that Regulation, is $5455;

        (b)	a competent person within the meaning of that Regulation, is 
$2750;

        (c)	a qualified person within the meaning of that Regulation, is

For approval under section 10 of the Ordinance for commencement of 
operation of an amusement ride in-	Fee
	$

        (a) category A	200

        (b) category B 	355

        (c) category C 	2800

        (d) category D	5340

Note: For the purposes of this Schedule, an amusement ride in-

        (a) category A, means any amusement ride which is permitted to carry not 
more than 2 persons;

        (b) category B, means any amusement ride which is permitted to carry not 
more than 5 persons;

        (c) category C, means any amusement ride which is permitted to carry not 
more than 20 persons; and

        (d) category D, means any amusement ride which is permitted to carry 21 or 
more persons.
