These regulations may be cited as the Hotel and Guesthouse Accommodation 
(Fees) Regulations.

HOTEL AND GUESTHOUSE ACCOMMODATION (FEES) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 2
Fee payable upon issue or renewal of certificate of exemption VerDate:30/06/1997



The fee payable to the Authority upon the issue or renewal of a 
certificate of exemption under section 6 of the Ordinance shall be $785.

The fee payable to the Authority upon-

        (a)	the issue of a licence under section 8 of the Ordinance is the 
appropriate fee prescribed in Schedule 1;

        (b)	the renewal of a licence under section 9 of the Ordinance is 
the appropriate fee prescribed in Schedule 2.

Adjustment of certificate of exemption or licence fee VerDate:21/12/2001




Where a certificate of exemption or a licence is issued or renewed for a 
period less than 12 months, the fee for such issue or renewal shall be 
determined as follows-

        (a)	in the case of issue or renewal of a certificate of exemption 
under section 6 of the Ordinance, by multiplying one-twelfth of the fee 
under regulation 2;

        (b)	in the case of issue of a licence under section 8 of the 
Ordinance, by multiplying one-twelfth of the appropriate fee prescribed in 
column 2 of Schedule 1; or

        (c)	in the case of renewal of a licence under section 9 of the 
Ordinance, by multiplying one-twelfth of the appropriate fee prescribed in 
column 2 of Schedule 2,
by the number of months for which the certificate of exemption or licence 
is issued or renewed.

Waiver of fee VerDate:30/06/1997



The Authority may waive, remit, reduce or refund the whole or any part of 
a fee for which provision is made under these regulations.
