FIRE SERVICE (INSTALLATION CONTRACTORS) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 9

Appointment of disciplinary board

(1) The Chief Executive may appoint a disciplinary board which shall inquire
into and deal with any matters referred to it under regulation 10(1).

(2) The disciplinary board shall consist of-

   (a)  a member of the committee of the Fire Insurance Association of Hong
        Kong nominated by that Association;

   (b)  a public officer nominated by the Building Authority;

   (c)  a public officer nominated by the Water Authority;

   (d)  a registered contractor nominated by the Director;

   (e)  the Director or his representative; and

   (f)  a legal adviser appointed by the Director.

(3) The Chief Executive may appoint one of the persons specified in paragraph
(2) as chairman of the disciplinary board, and the legal adviser shall conduct
the proceedings under the direction of the chairman. (L.N. 63 of 1992)
