BANKRUPTCY RULES - RULE 11

Official Receiver or trustee to file copies of advertisements*

(Past version on 30/06/1997).

(1) Whenever the Gazette contains any advertisement relating to any matter
under the Ordinance, the person specified in paragraph (3) shall, in respect
of the bankruptcy proceedings concerned, file a copy of the advertisement with
the court.

(2) In the case of an advertisement in a local newspaper, the person specified
in paragraph (3) shall in like manner file a copy of the advertisement
appearing therein.

(3) If the advertisement was inserted—

   (a)  by the Official Receiver, the Official Receiver is the person
        specified for the purposes of paragraphs (1) and (2); or

   (b)  by a trustee, the trustee is the person specified for the purposes of
        paragraphs (1) and (2). (L.N. 123 of 2007)

(4) The filed copy of such advertisement shall be prima facie evidence that it
was duly inserted in the issue of the Gazette or newspaper mentioned. (L.N.
