IMPORT (RADIATION) (PROHIBITION) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 2

Prohibition of import of articles in Schedule except under licence

(1) No person shall import any article specified in the Schedule except under
and in accordance with an import licence granted by the Director.

(1A) Paragraph (1) shall not apply in the case of any article in transit.

(2) Any person who contravenes the provisions of paragraph (1) shall be guilty
of an offence and shall be liable to a fine of $10000 and to imprisonment for
1 year.
