EXPORT (CERTIFICATES OF ORIGIN) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 2

In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires- "certificate"
(來源證) means a certificate of origin issued under regulation 6; (L.N. 119
of 1990) "Commonwealth or Hong Kong content" (英聯邦或香港成分) means
that proportion or percentage of manufacturing costs of any article or
articles attributable to Commonwealth or Hong Kong expenditure calculated
according to the methods and principles laid down in Notice No. 27A of the
Commissioners of Customs and Excise in London on Commonwealth Preference
regarding goods imported into the United Kingdom as varied or extended by the
Director from time to time; "country of destination" (目的國家) means the
final country of destination declared on a certificate; (L.N. 119 of 1990) "to
issue" (簽發) includes to endorse and to countersign; "to use a certificate"
(使用來源證) means to do or to cause to be done any act which by itself
or together with other acts is calculated to lead to the belief that a
certificate relates to any article manufactured, processed or produced in Hong
Kong or exported or to be exported from Hong Kong. (L.N. 119 of 1990)
