IMPORT AND EXPORT (REGISTRATION) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 13A

Safekeeping of security device

(Past version on 30/06/1997).

(1) A person who has been issued with a security device-

   (a)  shall not authorize or allow any other person to use the device in
        connection with the sending of information to the Commissioner under
        these regulations using services provided by a specified body; and

   (b)  shall take all reasonable steps and exercise due diligence to prevent
        any other person from using the device in connection with the sending
        of information to the Commissioner under these regulations using
        services provided by a specified body. (L.N. 33 of 2003)

(2) Where a person who has been issued with a security device contravenes
paragraph (1)(a) or (b), he commits an offence and is liable to a fine at
level 3. (L.N. 544 of 1995)
