FACTORIES AND INDUSTRIAL UNDERTAKINGS (SAFETY OFFICERS AND SAFETY SUPERVISORS) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 20
Action to be taken on reports
The proprietor of an industrial undertaking shall, in relation to a report
submitted to him under regulation 15(1)(j), by a person employed as a
safety officer, or a report submitted to him under regulation 17(1)(b)(iv), by
a person employed as a safety supervisor-
(a) discuss the report with the safety officer or the safety supervisor,
as the case may be, as soon as practicable after the report is
submitted to him;
(b) countersign the report and indicate the date when it was discussed
under paragraph (a); and
(c) keep the report for a period of 3 years from the date it was discussed
under paragraph (a). (Enacted 1986)
