Replacement of safety supervisor

(1) Where it appears to the Commissioner that any person employed as a
safety supervisor has, without reasonable excuse, failed to carry out his
duties under these regulations, the Commissioner may, by notice in writing
served on the proprietor of the industrial undertaking where the person is
employed as a safety supervisor, direct him to employ another person as a
safety supervisor before the expiry of such time being not less than 14 days
as shall be specified in the notice.

(2) The proprietor of an industrial undertaking on whom a notice is served
under paragraph (1), shall comply with the direction to employ another person
as a safety supervisor before the expiry of the time specified in the notice.
