Construction and usage of apparatus

PART II

GENERAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

(1) All apparatus and conductors shall be sufficient in size and capacity for
the work they are called upon to do and for the purposes for which the supply
of electrical energy is to be used and shall be constructed, installed,
protected and maintained so as to prevent electrical hazard.

(2) All live parts of apparatus shall be protected against accidental personal
contact either by the design and construction of the apparatus or by the
manner of its installation.
