FACTORIES AND INDUSTRIAL UNDERTAKINGS (ELECTRICITY) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 12
Means of isolating voltage in special circumstances
(1) Subject to paragraph (2), such efficient means, suitably located, shall be
provided for cutting off and isolating all voltage from every motor, converter
and transformer forming part of a system and all apparatus used in or in
connexion therewith.
(2) It shall not be necessary to comply with paragraph (1) in the case of a
conductor in a system if that conductor is earthed.
