FACTORIES AND INDUSTRIAL UNDERTAKINGS (CARGO AND CONTAINER HANDLING) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 2
Interpretation
(Past version on 30/06/1997).
In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires-
"cargo handling" (貨物搬運) means the loading, unloading or handling of
cargo or goods at a dock, quay or wharf;
"person employed" (受僱的人) means a person employed in cargo handling;
"proprietor" (東主)-
(a) means, except in regulations 10A, 10B and 17(5), a proprietor in
relation to an industrial undertaking of cargo handling; and
(b) means, in regulations 10A, 10B and 17(5), a proprietor in relation to
an industrial undertaking of container handling; (L.N. 214 of 1992)
"working place" (工作地方) means any place on a dock, quay or wharf in
which persons are employed in cargo handling.
