FACTORIES AND INDUSTRIAL UNDERTAKINGS (CARGO AND CONTAINER HANDLING) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 17

Offences

(1) Any proprietor who contravenes regulation 3, 4, 5 or 6 shall be guilty of
an offence and shall-

   (a)  in respect of a contravention of regulation 3, 4 or 6, be liable on
        conviction to a fine of $50000; and

   (b)  in respect of a contravention of regulation 5, be liable on conviction
        to a fine of $50000. (L.N. 25 of 1994)

(2) Any person who contravenes regulation 7, 8, 9 or 10 shall be guilty of an
offence and shall-

   (a)  in respect of a contravention of regulation 7 or 8, be liable on
        conviction to a fine of $50000; and

   (b)  in respect of a contravention of regulation 9 or 10, be liable on
        conviction to a fine of $10000. (L.N. 25 of 1994)

(3) Any proprietor who contravenes regulation 12(1), (2), (4), (5),

(6) or (8), 13, 14, 15(2) or 16 shall be guilty of an offence and shall be
liable on conviction to a fine of $10000.

(4) Any proprietor who fails or refuses to comply with any requirement of the
Commissioner under regulation 12(3) or (7) shall be guilty of an offence and
shall be liable on conviction to a fine of $10000.

(5) Any proprietor who contravenes regulation 10A or 10B shall be guilty of an
offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine of $50000. (L.N. 214 of
