Exemption where first aid room provided

(1) If a proprietor provides a room on the dock, quay or wharf for the sole
purpose of providing first aid or medical treatment, and makes arrangements so
as to ensure the treatment therein of all injuries occurring in any
working place on the dock, quay or wharf, the Commissioner may by notice in
writing exempt the proprietor from the requirements of this Part to such
extent and subject to such conditions as the Commissioner may specify in the
notice.

(2) A notice of exemption under paragraph (1) shall be prominently exhibited
by a proprietor in the room provided.
