Commissioner to serve notice of decision on applicant

(1) Where the Commissioner for Labour approves or refuses to approve any
person as a supervisor or deputy supervisor under regulation 4(1) or
regulation 6(1), the Commissioner shall forthwith notify that person in
writing, in English and in Chinese, of his decision.

(2) Where the Commissioner for Labour refuses to approve any person as a
supervisor or deputy supervisor, the notice referred to in paragraph

(1) shall include-

   (a)  a statement of the reasons of the Commissioner for Labour for his
        refusal; and

   (b)  an endorsement which shall set out the provisions of this regulation
        and of regulations 11, 12 and 13.

(3) Any person whom the Commissioner for Labour refuses to approve as a
supervisor or deputy supervisor under regulation 4(1) or regulation 6(1) may
appeal to the Administrative Appeals Board. (6 of 1994 s. 37)
