FACTORIES AND INDUSTRIAL UNDERTAKINGS (CONFINED SPACES) REGULATION - SECT 3

Application

This Regulation applies to work in an industrial undertaking-

   (a)  that takes place within a confined space; and

   (b)  as required by this Regulation, that takes place within the immediate
        vicinity of, and is associated with work occurring within, a
        confined space, and the duties imposed on a proprietor or contractor
        under this Regulation are in respect of work in confined spaces within
        the industrial undertaking for which he is such proprietor or
        contractor.
