FACTORIES AND INDUSTRIAL UNDERTAKINGS REGULATIONS - REGULATION 37

Sanitary conveniences, etc.

(1) Every notifiable workplace shall be provided with sufficient and suitable
latrine and washing conveniences on the premises and, where persons of both
sexes are or are intended to be employed such conveniences shall afford proper
separate accommodation for persons of each sex. (50 of 1985 s. 9)

(2) Any latrine or washing convenience which does not comply with the
provisions of the Buildings Ordinance ( Cap 123) shall be deemed not to be
sufficient and suitable for the purpose of this regulation.
