SECURITIES AND FUTURES (CONTRACT NOTES, STATEMENTS OF ACCOUNT AND RECEIPTS) RULES - SECT 17

Provision of documents to clients

Any contract note, statement of account or receipt (or any copy of any such
document) required to be provided to a client of an intermediary under these
Rules shall for all purposes be regarded as duly provided to the client if it
is served on-

   (a)  the client; or

   (b)  any other person (except an officer or employee of the intermediary or
        the associated entity of the intermediary, (as the case may be), that
        is required to provide the document to the client) designated by the
        client for the purposes of this paragraph by notice in writing to the
        intermediary or the associated entity of the intermediary

(as the case may be) that is required to provide the document to the client.
