Settlement

RULES RELATING TO TERMINATION OF ARBITRATION PROCEEDINGS

(1) If, before the award is made, the parties agree on a settlement of the
dispute, the arbitrator shall record the settlement in the form of an
arbitration award on agreed terms.

(2) The arbitrator is not obliged to give reasons for an award made under
subsection (1).

(3) An award made under subsection (1) shall be signed by the arbitrator, sent
to the parties and lodged with the clerk for filing.

(4) An award made under subsection (1) is final and binding on the parties.
