HUMAN REPRODUCTIVE TECHNOLOGY (LICENSING) REGULATION - SECT 4
Classes of premises
Any premises specified in an application for a licence pursuant to section 21
of the Ordinance must belong to one of the following classes—
(a) a clinic registered under the Medical Clinics Ordinance ( Cap 343);
(b) a hospital or maternity home registered under the Hospitals,
Nursing Homes and Maternity Homes Registration Ordinance ( Cap 165);
(c) a public hospital as defined in section 2(1) of the Hospital
Authority Ordinance ( Cap 113);
(d) a private consulting room that is—
(i) used by a registered medical practitioner in the course of his
practice; and
(ii) not located in premises used for residential purposes;
(e) a medical or research laboratory that is not located in premises used
for residential purposes.
