MASS TRANSIT RAILWAY BY-LAWS - BYLAW 18

Damaging etc. a ticket

(1) No person shall improperly do anything to or with a ticket whereby-

   (a)  the coded data thereon is erased wholly or in part, or is otherwise
        altered or interfered with; or

   (b)  the ticket is otherwise damaged.

(2) No person shall use or attempt to use a ticket which has been improperly
altered, damaged or interfered with for the purpose of entering or leaving the
paid area or travelling upon the railway. (Enacted 1986)
