CHINESE MEDICINE PRACTITIONERS (REGISTRATION) REGULATION - SECT 28

Non-appearance of parties

(1) If either or both parties to the appeal fail to either appear or be
represented at the hearing of the appeal, the Council may-

   (a)  adjourn the hearing to a later date;

   (b)  proceed to hear the appeal; or

   (c)  if the appellant fails to either appear or be represented, dismiss the
        appeal.

(2) If the Council hears an appeal in the absence of either or both parties,
it shall consider any representations submitted under section  27 (1).
