MERCHANT SHIPPING (LOCAL VESSELS) (FEES) REGULATION - SECT 21

Fees for issues of duplicates of certificates, etc.

(1) The fee, under section 85(4) of the Survey Regulation, to be paid in
respect of an application for the issue of a duplicate of a
certificate of inspection is $565.

(2) The fee, under section 85(4) of the Survey Regulation, to be paid in
respect of an application for the issue of a duplicate of a
certificate of survey is—

   (a)  in the case of a Class II vessel, or a Class III vessel, that is a
        Category B vessel fitted with propulsion engine with total propulsion
        power not exceeding 30 BHP, $285;

   (b)  in the case of any other vessel, $565.

(3) The fee, under section 85(4) of the Survey Regulation, to be paid in
respect of an application for the issue of a duplicate of a survey 
record of safety equipment or Hong Kong load line certificate is $565.

(4) The fee, under section 85(4) of the Survey Regulation, to be paid in
respect of an application for the issue of a duplicate of a
freeboard assignment certificate is—

   (a)  in the case of a Class II vessel the gross tonnage of which is less
        than 100, $285;

   (b)  in the case of any other vessel, $565.

(5) The fee, under section 85(4) of the Survey Regulation, to be paid in
respect of an application for the issue of a duplicate of a
declaration of fitness is $565.
