Director may require information

MISCELLANEOUS

(1) The Director may, for the purpose of determining whether this Regulation
is complied with in respect of a local vessel, by notice served on the owner,
his agent or the coxswain require that person to furnish him, within the time
specified in the notice, with such information as he thinks necessary.

(2) A person who fails, without reasonable excuse, to comply with a
requirement of a notice served under subsection (1) commits an offence and is
liable on conviction to a fine at level 3.
