MERCHANT SHIPPING (LOCAL VESSELS) (CERTIFICATION AND LICENSING) REGULATION - SECT 18

Conditions and restrictions attached to full licence

(1) Having regard to the material considerations, the Director may attach to a
full licence in respect of a local vessel—

   (a)  any conditions; or

   (b)  any restrictions that the vessel concerned may only ply within certain
        specified sheltered waters, typhoon shelters or other areas. (24 of
        2005 s. 26)

(2) The Director may, having regard to the material considerations, amend any
conditions or restrictions attached to a full licence in respect of a local
vessel and may request the owner or his agent to deliver the licence to him
for the purpose of making the amendments.

(3) A person who, without reasonable excuse, fails to deliver a full licence
on request under subsection (2) commits an offence and is liable on conviction
to a fine at level 2 and to imprisonment for 6 months.
