LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL (ELECTION PETITION) RULES - RULE 1

Interpretation

In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires-

"petition" (呈請、呈請書) means an election petition lodged under Part
VII of the Ordinance;

"Registrar" (司法常務官) means the Registrar of the High Court;

"respondent" (答辯人) means a respondent within the meaning of section
63(1) of the Ordinance.
