ELECTORAL PROCEDURE (VILLAGE REPRESENTATIVE ELECTION) REGULATION - SECT 80

Act done in the absence of candidates or agents still valid

If an act is required or authorized under this Regulation to be done in the
presence of-

   (a)  a candidate or all candidates; or

   (b)  an election agent, a polling agent or a counting agent, that act shall
        not be invalid solely for the reason that such person or persons are
        not present when the act is performed.
