ELECTORAL PROCEDURE (VILLAGE REPRESENTATIVE ELECTION) REGULATION - SECT 42

Order of names of candidates on ballot papers

(1) A number shall be allocated to each candidate by the drawing of lots
conducted by the Returning Officer.

(2) The names of the candidates shall appear on a ballot paper in the order of
the numbers allocated under subsection (1).

(3) The number allocated to a candidate shall be printed on a ballot paper
against his name.

(4) The Returning Officer shall give notice to each candidate of the
arrangements for the drawing of lots under subsection (1).

(5) A candidate or his election agent may be present at the drawing of lots
under subsection (1).
