ELECTORAL AFFAIRS COMMISSION (ELECTORAL PROCEDURE) (ELECTION COMMITTEE) REGULATION - SECT 34

Chief Electoral Officer to appoint Presiding Officers for each polling station

(1) The Chief Electoral Officer must appoint a person to preside at each
polling station.

(2) The Chief Electoral Officer may appoint, as polling officers, persons that
Officer considers suitable to assist the Presiding Officer in the conduct of a
poll.
