ELECTORAL AFFAIRS COMMISSION (ELECTORAL PROCEDURE) (ELECTION COMMITTEE) REGULATION - SECT 11

Returning Officer not to accept subsector nomination form without deposit and to issue receipt for deposit

(1) The Returning Officer may accept a subsector nomination form submitted for
the purposes of section 8 only if it is accompanied by the
appropriate deposit.

(2) When the Returning Officer receives the appropriate deposit, that Officer
must issue a receipt for the amount of the deposit.

(3) In this section and section 13, "appropriate deposit" (適當的按金)
means the amount of deposit to be lodged under the Election Committee
(Subscribers and Election Deposit for Nomination) Regulation ( Cap 569 sub.
leg. C) for a subsector election.
