Returning Officers, Presiding Officers, polling officers or counting officers not to act as agents of candidates in the same election

PART VI

MISCELLANEOUS AND SUPPLEMENTAL PROVISIONS: ORDINARY ELECTION AND BY-ELECTIONS

(1) A Returning Officer, Presiding Officer, polling officer or
counting officer who acts as an election agent, a polling agent, a
counting agent or an election expenses agent in the election for which he or
she is appointed commits an offence.

(2) A person who commits an offence under subsection (1) is liable to a fine
at level 2 and to imprisonment for 3 months.
