ELECTORAL AFFAIRS COMMISSION (ELECTORAL PROCEDURE) (DISTRICT COUNCILS) REGULATION - SECT 15

Returning Officer not to accept nomination form without deposit and to issue receipt for deposit

(1) The Returning Officer may accept a nomination form only if it is
accompanied by the appropriate deposit.

(2) When the Returning Officer receives the appropriate deposit, that Officer
must issue a receipt for the amount of the deposit.

(3) In this section and section 16 "appropriate deposit" (適當的按金)
means the amount of deposit to be lodged under the District Councils
(Subscribers and Election Deposit for Nomination) Regulation ( Cap 547 sub.
leg. A).
