(1) Except where otherwise stated, this Regulation applies to a
general election and a by-election.

(2) In their application to a by-election, Parts III and IV are to be read
subject to necessary modifications.

(3) Schedule 1 applies to a subsector election.

(4) Schedule 2 applies to a general election, by-election and
subsector election.
