ELECTORAL AFFAIRS COMMISSION (REGISTRATION OF ELECTORS) (LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL GEOGRAPHICAL CONSTITUENCIES) (DISTRICT COUNCIL CONSTITUENCIES) REGULATION - SECT 12

What is to be contained in provisional register

The provisional register is to consist of the following-

   (a)  subject to sections 9, 11 and 19(3) and (4), the names and
        principal residential address recorded in the existing final register;

   (b)  if the name and principal residential address of a person are
        corrected under section 15(8)(a), those particulars, as corrected;

   (c)  the names and principal residential address of persons whom the
        Electoral Registration Officer has determined to be eligible to be
        registered in the provisional register, on applications received by
        that Officer-

        (i)    (Repealed L.N. 284 of 1999)

(ia) in the case of the provisional register for 2000, during the period
beginning on 17 January 1999 and ending on 16 March 2000; and (L.N. 284 of
1999)

        (ii)   in the case of any subsequent provisional register, during the
               period beginning on 17 March in the preceding year and ending
               on 16 March in the current year. (L.N. 284 of 1999)
