Obtaining of evidence and information

The provisions of Schedule 2 shall have effect in order to facilitate the
obtaining, by or on behalf of the Chief Executive, of evidence and information
for the purpose of securing compliance with or detecting evasion of this
Regulation and in order to facilitate the obtaining, by or on behalf of the
Chief Executive, of evidence of the commission of an offence under this
Regulation or, with respect to any of the matters regulated by this
Regulation, of an offence relating to customs.
