(1) (Repealed L.N. 132 of 2004)

(2) Any provision of this Regulation which prohibits the doing of a thing
except under the authority of a licence shall not have effect in relation to
any such thing done in a place outside the HKSAR by a person who is ordinarily
resident in, or by a body corporate incorporated or constituted under the law
of, that place, provided that it is so done under the authority of a licence
or with permission granted, in accordance with any law in force in that place
(being a law substantially corresponding to the relevant provision of this
Regulation), by the  authority competent in that behalf under that law. (L.N.
