Evidence in support of opposition

(Past version on 30/06/1997).

(1) Within 3 months from the date of sending of the copy of the applicant's
counter-statement under section 39, the opponent shall file such evidence as
he may desire to adduce in support of his opposition and shall send to the
applicant a copy of that evidence. (L.N. 38 of 2004)

(2) If the opponent fails to file evidence in accordance with subsection (1),
he shall, unless the Registrar otherwise directs, be deemed to have abandoned
the opposition.
