Deficiencies

(1) Where the Registrar determines that there are deficiencies as regards the
formal requirements, he shall give written notice of the deficiencies to the
applicant.

(2) Deficiencies as regards the formal requirements may be corrected within 3
months after the date of the notice.

(3) Subject to section 26 of the Ordinance, if the deficiencies are corrected
within the period referred to in subsection (2), the Registrar shall proceed
to register the design in accordance with section 25.
