Transactions affecting rights in applications

Rights in applications

(1) Subject to section 64(3) of the Ordinance, notice may be given to the
Registrar on the specified form of particulars concerning any transaction,
instrument or event affecting an application for registration of a design and
to which sections 23 and 34 of the Ordinance apply.

(2) Section 33(2) to (4) applies, with necessary modification, in relation to
a notice filed under subsection (1) as it applies in relation to an
application filed under section 33.

(3) Subject to section 64(3) of the Ordinance, notice may be given to the
Registrar on the specified form of particulars concerning any transaction,
instrument or event by virtue of which the ownership of, or any interest in,
an application for registration of a design is purportedly affected.

(4) A notice under subsection (1) or (3) shall contain full particulars of the
transaction, instrument or event.
