DISCOVERY BAY TUNNEL LINK REGULATION - SECT 12

Adequate manning requirements

The Company shall, to the satisfaction of the Commissioner-

   (a)  deploy adequate and efficient personnel for the safe and orderly
        passage of motor vehicles through the Tunnel Link and the control and
        safety of motor vehicles and persons in the tunnel area in accordance
        with the manning requirements approved by the Commissioner; and

   (b)  ensure that all the tunnel officers, who are engaged in traffic
        control and operational duties, are trained in fire fighting
        procedures, first aid techniques and the use of fire fighting and
        first aid equipment.
