Amendment of application for short-term patent under section 120 of the Ordinance

PART X

PROCEDURE UP TO AND INCLUDING GRANT OF SHORT-TERM PATENTS

(1) Subject to section 45(3), an application under section 120 of the
Ordinance for amendment of an application for a short-term patent shall be in
the specified form, shall clearly identify the proposed amendment and shall
state the reasons for it.

(2) Where any amendment is proposed to be made to the description, claims or
drawings, the Registrar may, if he thinks fit, require the filing, within the
time specified by the Registrar, of a new specification or drawings as
amended, which shall be prepared in accordance with sections 59, 60, 61, 62
and 64.
