PATENTS (GENERAL) RULES - SECT 55

Exhibition or meeting under section 95(1)(b) of the Ordinance

The following exhibitions or meetings are prescribed for the purposes of
section 95(1)(b) of the Ordinance-

   (a)  an official or officially recognized international exhibition within
        the terms of the Convention on International Exhibitions signed at
        Paris on 22 November 1928 as applying to Hong Kong;

   (b)  an international exhibition sponsored or recognized by the Chinese
        Government or an academic or technological meeting organized by a
        competent department concerned of the State Council of the Chinese
        Government or by a national academic or technological association, so
        recognized by the Chinese Government.
