PATENTS (GENERAL) RULES - SECT 23

Communication following examination on filing under section 25(1) of the Ordinance

(1) If a request for registration and grant fails to meet any of the
requirements laid down in section 24(1) of the Ordinance, the Registrar shall
communicate the disclosed deficiencies to the applicant and inform him of the
consequences provided under section 25(3)(b) of the Ordinance in the event of
a failure to remedy those deficiencies within 1 month of the date of the
communication.

(2) If the applicant remedies the disclosed deficiencies within that period,
he shall be informed of the date of filing accorded to the request for
registration and grant.
