PATENTS (GENERAL) RULES - SECT 14

Issue of receipt by Registrar

On first receipt of any of the documents comprising a request to record the
Registrar shall-

   (a)  mark the documents with the date of their receipt by him and assign a
        number to the proceedings; and

   (b)  issue to the applicant a receipt which shows the number so assigned,
        the nature and number of the documents received and the date of their
        receipt.
