OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH REGULATION - SECT 24

Responsible person to avoid need to undertake certain manual handling operations

(1) The person responsible for a workplace must, as far as reasonably
practicable, avoid the need for employees employed at the workplace to
undertake any manual handling operations which may create
safety and health risks.

(2) A person responsible for a workplace who fails to comply with subsection
(1) commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine of $200000.
