CORONERS RULES - SECT 9
Inquests not to be held on general holidays or Sundays
(Past version on 04/05/1998).
(1) No inquest shall be held on a general holiday within the meaning of
section 2 of the General Holidays Ordinance ( Cap 149) unless the coroner
considers it requisite on grounds of urgency that an inquest be held on such a
day. (35 of 1998 s. 5)
(2) No inquest shall be held on a Sunday.
