CORONERS RULES - SECT 11
Witness not to incriminate himself
(1) No witness at an inquest shall be obliged to answer a question if to do so
would tend to incriminate him.
(2) Where it appears to the coroner that a witness has been asked a question
referred to in subrule (1), the coroner shall inform the witness that he may
refuse to answer.
