TSING MA CONTROL AREA (GENERAL) REGULATION - SECT 6
Variation to traffic signs, light signals and road markings
(1) The Commissioner may vary any figure or the direction of an arrow on or in
relation to any prescribed traffic sign, prescribed light signal or
prescribed road marking to adapt that traffic sign, light signal or
road marking to the particular circumstances of the Area.
(2) An operator may, for the purpose of discharging his duties and obligations
under a management agreement, exercise the power of the Commissioner under
subsection (1) in respect of any prescribed traffic sign,
prescribed light signal or prescribed road marking specified by the
Commissioner for the time being.
(3) Where a traffic sign, light signal or road marking erected, displayed or
placed for the purposes of this Regulation varies or differs in size, colour
or type from the relevant prescribed traffic sign, prescribed light signal or
prescribed road marking, the variation or difference shall not prevent the
traffic sign, light signal or road marking from being treated as a
prescribed traffic sign, prescribed light signal or prescribed road marking
if the variation or difference does not materially impair its appearance.
